Last week I told you how to conjure up a bunch of cool emoticons in Windows Phone 7.5. Here’s a bunch more to start playing with when you’re texting friends. (Miss last week's list?)

What Sort of Inbox Do You Have? Sharing With Hotmail

Administrator's picture

I get a lot of email every day and not just from all the amazing people who read this blog. Instead, I get a lot of shopping site updates, some notes from my friends and occasionally a forwarded email from my mom. In case you were wondering who still receives chain mail pass-along, it’s me and it only comes from two sources: my mom and my ex-boyfriend’s mom. Anyway, when you add it up it’s a lot of mail. If you’re wondering how I manage all, well I have to admit, I’m a filer.

As we think about features to add to Hotmail, one of the things we look at is how customers are using other mail apps like Outlook, and if some of the things they love about those apps would also be valuable in Hotmail. If you haven’t already started to use the new Windows Live Hotmail, you may be missing out on some surprising and very cool features. The outstanding thing about Photo Mail is that it uses SkyDrive to store large photos and videos, which eliminates the need to attach files.

How do I get my project time data?

Administrator's picture

I've gotten some requests from people to include a method to get your time data out of ProjectKeeper. I just wanted to let everyone know that the next version of ProjectKeeper will include a button that will allow you to email a report to any number of recipients. I'm already in the process of including this in what will become version 1.1.
Keep the suggestions coming!

Update on the rollout of the new Hotmail

Administrator's picture

The Hotmail rollout continues to go along smoothly and we’re right on track with our release plan, having now upgraded nearly 50 million accounts on several different clusters. Of course, we continue to get comments from many of you who are eager to get access to the new Hotmail, and we’re just as eager to get the new version out to everyone.
