Thanks to @duepuntozer0 for the tip on ipodnn’s post, Onkyo updates receivers for 3D, Windows 7. The new Onkyo Receivers TX-NR3008 and TX-NR5008 are not only DLNA certified, they carry the Compatible with Windows 7 logo.

Last week I promised you an update from Sonar in Barcelona and never doubt that I am a man of my word! For the uninitiated, Sonar is Europe’s premier electronic music festival. Over time it has grown into a highly respected weekend for music lovers to experience the best in cutting edge music and audiovisual art.

Back in April, I published a blog post about Western Digital’s WD TV Live earning the Compatible with Windows 7 Logo and bringing Windows 7 awesomeness with support for Play To. Today, Western Digital has announced a new addition to their WD TV line of media players – the WD TV Live Plus.

Users are continuously getting smarter and more educated about the things criminals are doing on the web. Because of this, the criminals have to change their tactics. One of the ways they are doing this is by buying ads on prominent web sites, and finding ways to serve up malicious content through those ads. Some of these websites might be some of your favorite websites you visit regularly and you might be thinking “hey, I only visit good websites” – unfortunately even “good” websites (websites not intending to harm the reader in any way) can be affected.

Last week, Toshiba announced a new series of LED HDTVs – the UX600 Cinema Series. This new series of TVs from Toshiba not only are DLNA certified, but also carry the Compatible with Windows 7 logo – the first TVs to hit the market that do so.

Whenever I’m confused on how to do something and am looking for some help, YouTube is one of the first places I go. Without fail, I can always find some form of video that gives me the answer I need. The Windows Home Server team has also seen the benefits of YouTube, and we thought it would be helpful and fun for our customers if we started making our own videos!
