CES 2012 continues to take place this week and I bring you the 2nd video in our 2-part series where we visited several of our OEMs on the showroom floor to get a peek at the PCs they are showing off. Video #2 is below!

Brr… its cold outside! As both winter and the holidays are in full swing around us, it’s always fun to have a distraction. This week, Sony is going to be providing a few huge distractions. First off, we’ll be giving away a Sony VAIO SE 15” Windows PC which is one of the hottest PCs on the market. This stylish slim PC has great graphics and a huge 15.5” screen – perfect for watching movies or gaming!

Well it is that time again and I’ve been going through my office and looking at the products I’ve looked at over the last several weeks that stood out. From the new class of stunning Ultrabook notebooks to some of the great accessories and games this year there are cool products for everyone on your list in tech.

Today Sony has revealed a new VAIO S Series Windows PC (VAIO SE) with a 15.5-inch full-on 1080p HD display. The VAIO S Series has a slim and light design with an optional sheet battery for impressive battery life (up to 12 hours!).

At BlogHer ‘11 in San Diego, I carried my PC around with me the entire time I was awake, and that made me appreciate technology more than ever. In fact, it also helped me to realize that one of the greatest things about technology is just how freeing it can be. If you are carrying around one of the latest and greatest Windows Phones like the Samsung Focus, you’ll be connected to the things that really matter: email, Facebook, Twitter and by design, all my friends and coworkers.

One of the questions I get a lot is “Do you have a recommendation for a PC that’s light, small, cheap, looks great and has a long battery life?” 

Did You Win the Sony VAIO with Up to 15 Hours of Battery Life?

Last year I wrote about Sony’s amazing VAIO Z. It was the PC I used for several months as my main work laptop and the one that was in my bag when my son was born last June. I defined the Z as “luxury computing”; it was fast, light, beautifully designed and sported features that no other laptop on the market had. To this day I rank it as one of the best PC’s I’ve ever used.

If I had a PC up to15 hours of battery life, I’d hop a flight to Cartagena, Colombia (9 hours flying time) and then head straight to the beach for an all-day session soaking up the sun (6 hours) without ever having to plug in my laptop.
