Everyone who has an iPhone knows one of the greatest features it has is the Google Maps application.  You can search for almost anything around you just by typing in some keywords.  Heck, you can even view Google's street view and see what the place looks like before you even head out.  That may soon come to a screeching halt as Apple is said to be breaking up with Google.

 
Apparently back in July Apple acquired their own maps company Placebase.  The little start up company was trying to make it big selling their mapping services to businesses.  This proved to be hard because they're selling what Google provides for free.  So what does Apple plan on doing?  Rumors are circling that Apple plans to change the maps app on the iPhone to one of their own.  You know how truthful rumors can be, so nobody knows for sure yet.
